10/24 Quote of the day!
bq. Although those wizards, I’m very very suspicious about what they’re doing in their spare time.
- “Bill O’Reilly on the topic of gay wizards in the Harry Potter book series”:http://www.thinkprogress.org/2007/10/24/oreilly-dumbledore/.
p. Are you kidding me? He’s very, very suspicious of what a fictional character does in his spare time? Do ficitional characters in a book even have spare time?
p. The crazy thing is, I think he was playing devil’s advocate earlier in the interview, going against his asinine quote:
bq.. O’REILLY: Now, Dumbledore is not overtly gay in the book.
JORDAN: Absolutely not.
O’REILLY: So you wouldn’t know whether he was gay or not, right?
JORDAN: And in fact, you don’t know anything about the sex lives of any of the teachers.
p. I wonder if he was suspicious of the gay wizard before J.K. Rowling revealed her “gay agenda” to the masses? It sounds like he wasn’t, but given the fact that he’s now thinking about gay wizards (and what they do in their spare time), it makes me a little suspicious of what he’s doing in his free time.
